I have played this guitar for years, but it has been well cared for.  It plays like butter.  This guitar has been modified at the PRS factory here in Stevensville. The HFS and Vintage Bass pickups have been replaced with PRS Dragons ( original Dragons good for driving Marshall type amps).  My guitar student (who works at PRS here in Stevensville) had them switched out for me.  Dragon Pickups were introduced in 1992 with the Dragon Series guitars.  They were also installed on Custom 22's.  By 1994 all Custom 22, Standard 22, and CE 22's were outfitted with Dragon Pickups.  Original 5 way rotary switch. 

The color is Scarlet Red.  Solid edge, no typical PRS "natural" edge/ binding.  I have never seen another one in this color, which leads me to believe that not a lot of these were made in Scarlet Red.  I added  red pearl topped barrel knobs (similar to Telecaster knobs).  Sort of a combo flame and quilt on this one.   Maple bolt on neck is perfect.  Black head stock.  The newer models of this guitar now have a natural maple head stock.  Many PRS players prefer the black, which is on this one.  Polished and dressed frets.  This guitar is in great condition and sounds fantastic.  The case is in great condition and includes case keys and factory hang tags. 

My student who works at PRS told me this is or may have been an Artist Stock guitar but there is no way of knowing who or which artists tried it out on or off stage.  I sent an email to PRS customer service a few years ago with the serial number to see if they had any history of the guitar .  Jim Cullen replied that they do not keep any of that kind of information. 

Has a small spot above jack plug where the finish is nicked on the upper edge, which is detailed below.  Inquire and I will send more pictures.
